Job Title: Senior Trust and Corporate Manager

Reporting to: Private Client Director

Direct reports: Trust and Corporate Administrators & Trust and Corporate Officers

Job Purpose        

To support the Whitmill Private Client Director in leading and overseeing the day-to-day administrative activity of the Whitmill Private Client team driving a client focused, compliant and commercial approach embedding the Whitmill Group’s vision, mission, strategic goals and culture.

Key Result Areas

• Supporting the Private Client Director in the day-to-day management of the Whitmill Private Client business.

• The role holder will undertake day-to-day relationship management of a primarily complex client casebook ensuring that client expectations are understood and met and that service levels are consistently high across the area of responsibility.

• The role holder will work with limited day-to-day supervision with referral usually for discretion purposes only.

• The provision of technical support, guidance and effective coaching to less experienced members of the Whitmill Private Client employee team driving professional development and consistently high client service levels across the area of responsibility.

• Support the Whitmill Private Client Team to meet Key Performance and Risk indicators measuring team performance, delegating responsibilities where appropriate and helping to manage employees by providing advice, guidance and motivation to drive both individual and collective performance.

• An understanding of legislation, the regulatory framework and a good working comprehension of tax matters impacting Whitmill and its client entities / structures helping to ensure that the business operates compliantly and mitigates any real of potential risks fiduciary or regulatory risks.
